How to block Google DNS on Netgear Router

1. Login to your router by typing http://192.168.0.1 (try also 192.168.1.1)

2. Go to "Advanced" -> "Static Routes"

3. Click on "Add" button and add the following to the Route List:

    - Route name: blockgoogle1
    - Uncheck Private checkbox if available and check Active checkbox
    - Destination IP address: 8.8.8.8
    - Subnet mask IP: 255.255.255.0 (if it doesn't works also try 255.255.255.255)
    - Gateway IP address: (type the same ip you used to enter the webadmin panel, probably 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1)
    - Metric: 2

4. Apply Settings.

5. Repeat step 3 for Destination IP address: 8.8.4.4 as well (change route name to "blockgoogle2")
