How to block Google DNS on Linksys Router

1. First of all access your router web admin panel by typing http://192.168.1.1 (also try 192.168.0.1) into the web browser address bar.

2. Click on Advanced Routing under Connectivity menu on left sidebar.

3. Add the following to the Static Routing list :

- Route name: blockgoogle1
- Destination IP: 8.8.8.8
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 or 255.255.255.255
- Gateway: (type the address of your router, the same you typed into web browser bar: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1)
- Interface: WAN or LAN & Wireless

4. Click on the Save Settings and Apply settings.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for the following routes changing Route name: blockgoogle2 and Destination IP: 8.8.8.4
