How to block Google DNS on Belkin Router
Last Updated 7 years ago

1. First of all access your router web admin panel by typing http://192.168.1.1 (also try 192.168.2.1) into the web browser address bar.

2. Click on Static Route under Lan Setup on menu
(note that some routers don't have this option. In that case you won't be able to use this router for blocking DNS)

3. Add the following to the Static Routing list :

- Network Address: 8.8.8.8
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 or 255.255.255.255
- Gateway: 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.100 or another valid IP from your network.

4. Click on the Add and Apply settings.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for Network Address: 8.8.8.4

6. Restart your router to apply settings.
