How to change your location in Google Chrome

This method need to be used in conjunction with our VPN service for best protection against location leaking.

  1. Be sure you're correctly connected to our VPN service.
  2. Open your Chrome browser, then hit Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to open Chrome Developer Tools.
  3. Add the Sensor tab as showed in the image below

  4. Now click on the new Sensor tab, then open the Geolocation menu and select the new location from list (e.g. San Francisco) or enter custom coordinates.

  5. Check that your location has changed by visiting this link: https://ctrlq.org/maps/where
